Two silver medals for Degustus oils from the La Granadella Cooperative at the ATHENA IOOC 2025

The international competition, held in Greece, recognizes the excellence of extra virgin olive oils from around the world

Degustus extra virgin olive oil and organic Degustus extra virgin olive oil from Cooperativa La Granadella have been awarded two silver medals in the 2025 edition of the prestigious ATHENA International Olive Oil Competition (ATHENA IOOC), held in Greece.

The competition is one of the most prominent in the European olive oil scene and has a jury made up of internationally renowned professional tasters, who evaluate oils from around the world according to organoleptic and quality criteria.

This double recognition reaffirms the quality of Degustus oils and consolidates the work of the Cooperative in both its conventional and organic production. All are made from Arbequina olives from the members' farms, and are produced in the company's own mill, with strict control to preserve all the properties of the fruit.

With these awards, the La Granadella Cooperative continues to gain international recognition in 2025, a year in which Degustus oils have also been distinguished with the Extra Gold medal at the BIOL Award, the Gran Oro medal at Ecotrama and inclusion in the Iber Oleum guide, which lists the best oils in Spain.
